BE A PEARL AND SHINE FOR OTHER GIRLS IN YOUR COMMUNITY!

Our Hope is that girls ages 8-88 from all over the world will use You’re Designed to Shine as a tool to reach out and encourage the girls and women in your own communities...whether you live by the sea, the mountains or somewhere in-between. It is so easy to lead that even middle school girls can do this!

HOW A PEARL IS FORMED
When a simple grain of sand enters into the living membrane of an oyster it causes the oyster fits of conflict and irritation. The oyster’s reaction is to continually coat it and over time, the grain of sand eventually turns into a pearl. The Latin word for pearl literally means ‘unique’ attesting to the fact that no two pearls are identical. We are like the grain of sand when we come to God. He takes us as we are and even through the irritations we encounter on our journey he coats us with his grace, refines us and molds us into something of beauty that reflects his love to the world. YOU each are unique and different but YOU ALL have one thing in common, you are each a PEARL that desires to shine for other girls.

HOW SOME PEARLS ARE SHINING VALUE IN CREATIVE WAYS

_Gathering a group of friends (your pod) to grow together.

_Gathering girls of all ages!

_Gathering girls younger than you so you can be a Pearl.

_Moms doing it with your daughter and her friends.

_Gathering the girls in your neighborhood and community.

_Grandma's doing it with your granddaughter.

_A grandma gathered her daughters and granddaughters.

_Lots of you have asked your church leaders to view the material and have formed groups that way.
